Describe your involvement or interest in adventure-based experiential learning.
I provide facilitator training in reviewing/debriefing techniques in the UK and worldwide. I draw on my experiences as an outdoor educator, development trainer, facilitator, researcher and author of books about learning through adventure.
What are your goals, and how can The Challenge community help you achieve them?
My goal is to help facilitators of adventure-based experiential learning to be more successful. This typically involves integrating adventure and learning - by making adventures more reflective and debriefing more active. The Challenge community can help me achieve these goals by putting me in touch with people who are curious about what I do.
Roger thank you.
I read your thoughts.
I have been also thinking about the order and how to not just ensure that participants and I learn and I want to ensure that it is presented and built to be appropiate to the outcomes and goals.
It is a challenge as I re-read - John Dewey "How We Think" my brain begins to flow with learning and experiential education theory!
Roger, I recently posted on Forum, about the topic of Jarvis' ELC model.
I am interested to hear your thoughts on this model, as opposed to other ELC models that are out there.
Roger,
I have just re-posted the article on ropes courses on my blog I added some slight changes with school groups as well as corporate teams. Additionally I pasted your comment from this site into my blog site. I would be honored if you used anything I have written with your clients and programs.

Roger,
Your Active Learning Manual Site is an excellent resource that I feel you should add to The Challenge Site.
I have already used (several times) many variations of the Story Line processing intitiative - I have found it to be effective with youth and adult teams.
