That sounds very doable. But don't you want to hear first what I would need from you??? :)

What is your email address so I can contact you through there and send an attachment.

Hi Nic! There is not a chance that you will be home visiting around June 12th is there???? That is the day that we have our program orientation and thought it would be awesome if you were available to help us.

Those dates are really bad Nic. :( It is the weekend before Christmas. I know I will be in Indiana for Christmas with my family....Janet in St. Louis with hers. I can only assume Kim Christman may be traveling to OHIO to hers. This is disappointing because we would love to see your ideas. I know personally i am always looking for new tricks! Maybe some other time in the future would work better. Janet jokingly said to have you videotape yourself and send it! :)

Wow are you that bored?? :) Janet says you just want to come and sing your wake up song to everyone! Well, I called and left messages on Kim Christmans (Uof I Extension) and Kim Pools (Formerly Kim Stout of Servant Leadership) phones. I threw the idea out there...perhaps they have staff as well...maybe we could even extend invitation to a couple of Boys and Girls Club staff or a couple of Church Youth Group leaders? The thing is...it would have to be on the 19th as all of Highland will be closed. Are you actually traveling in on that day?

Would the activities you focus around be activities that do not require big equipment?

We just brought Michelle Cummings in this past June to do both of those things. She attended a day of our Tutor Mentor training (we train the TM's the week before the students come) She used the Challenge Kit we had purchased from her and before she left we had our whole orientation planned using activities she walked us through. She trained us all on the processing as well.

Two problems with December...we are off from December 22nd until January 5th. And we don't have all of our summer staff in place until usually the end of Spring.

But down the road when we need to bring in some more training we would love to utilize you would havppen to be available.

What do you have in mind? What kind of training?

We really don't have the storage space for anything like that. You should see how we had to move things around to find room for this big bag of tricks!

It sucks when it comes time to spend down some annual funding and we have these good ideas of things we would like to get but storage is an issue.

Well Hi there! I suppose you would belong to a site such as this! :) I'm not surre I really belong here. We tend to lean toward more of the less grand team building and group challenges. I ordered a big bag of tricks from Michelle Cummings with Training Wheels and had her come out and train our TMs to conduct a team building orientation this summer. She was great. I get her newsletter and I saw the link to this and joined. I thought I might be able to pick up nuggets here and there of less physical type challenges.

So how are things with you???
