Describe your involvement or interest in adventure-based experiential learning.

I am a Licensed Recreational Therapist (LRT), a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), Certified Parenting Educator in NC (CPE-I) & have worked @ faith based & other camps & planned & facilitated several adventure-based experiential learning retreats. I have also worked with children, adolescents & adults with a wide range of skills, abilities & challenges. My family & I enjoy kayaking, canoeing, biking, hiking, swimming & just spending time together outdoors!

What are your goals, and how can The Challenge community help you achieve them?

I am in the process of starting a nonprofit organization (Creekside Recreational Therapy Services) to deliver primarialy faith based, adventure-based Recreational Therapy services. I would like to be a part of The Challenge community to network with other professionals in the field & to keep abreast of trends, changes & evidence-based developments in the field.
