- I design interactive team development exercises - mostly board games with a high participative content. I associate with a variety of different program facilitators. Been at this a LONG time and have worked worldwide. Have participated in a number of these different activities, noting varying levels of professional leadership and facilitation.

Square Wheels and Lost Dutchman
My two best-known facilitation and team building tools are my Square Wheels illustrations and my Lost Dutchman game. The cartoons are of a wooden wagon rolling on Square Wheels with a cargo of round rubber tires. My flagship game is about, "Mining as much gold as we can." It is about collaboration, planning and leadership, but players make the assumption that it is about competition, and thus they sub-optimize results instead of collaboration to maximize things.
