Describe your involvement or interest in adventure-based experiential learning.
I have been active in experiential learning for the past twelve years as a ropes course facilitator and curriculum deveolper and started my own business Adventure Teamworks, LLC to help share the benefits of experiential education and training with students and adults. Adventure Teamworks understands how communication patterns have evolved over the years and advise and train groups of diverse interests, talents and abitlities on how to become effective communicators and team members. In addition, we know that today's education goes beyond academic learning to also teach important life skills and have developed curriculum that teaches and reinforces personal and team skills. Our goal is to create dynamic teams!
What are your goals, and how can The Challenge community help you achieve them?
To expand my network with other professionals in experiential education as well as learn new methods to promote experiential ed. and its effectiveness.
