The Challenge Community Guidelines

In the interest of providing a supportive and rewarding community experience for all its members, The Challenge asks that you adhere to these simple guidelines.

Please do not

* post content containing commercial solicitations. (User name may not be that of any kind of commercial entity. Tags may not refer to commercial entities.)

*post content containing personal attacks, hate speech or bigotry.

*post content containing sexual content or solicitations.

* "bump" discussions (bumping is when one member repeatedly posts to a thread in which there is no other activity).

Security

Please keep certain personal information to yourself. For your own safety, we ask that you don't give out credit card numbers, social security numbers, telephone numbers, addresses, passwords, or driver's license numbers to strangers online. To protect yourself from spam, don't post your e-mail address publicly.

Appropriate Promotion

We encourage you to share information about your business or organization with The Challenge community, however, we ask that you do this in your profile page, not in comments, forums, blogs or group descriptions.

Your profile name or image may not be a commercial name or solicitation. You may post links to your profile in discussions (or just ask members to click your profile picture in any post), but we ask that the content of these discussions remain non-commercial in tone.

If you would like to start a group to promote your business, please contact The Challenge at team_adventures@yahoo.com so it can be properly labeled.

If you would like to purchase display advertising on The Challenge, you can do so by becoming a community sponsor. For details, contact Greg Wilson at team_adventures@yahoo.com

Transparency

Community members are required to include their first and last name in their public profile, and are encouraged to include an identifying image and thorough descriptive information. Use of single or fictitious names, exclusion of an identifying image, and lack of sufficient descriptive information can be interpreted as an effort to misrepresent or hide your identity from other members, and is statistically shown to discourage community interaction.

To update your account profile, log in and go to the "My Settings" link found at the top left of every page. If you are unsure how to upload an identifying image to your profile, please contact Greg Wilson at team_adventures@yahoo.com for technical assistance.

Appreciation

We appreciate your compliance with these guidelines. The Challenge reserves the right to remove posts that do not respect these guidelines or that detract significantly from our users' experience on the site.

Breaches to any of these guidelines could result in the loss of your posting privileges. The first infraction will result in a warning; the second infraction could result in a temporary or permanent loss of posting privileges.
