Seeking interns for the spring season. Also seeking a full time, year round manager. If you know anyone who may be interested, please send them my way (milholen@cispus.org).

Daniel Azarian Comment by Daniel Azarian on November 11, 2008 at 9:21am
Hi, my name is Daniel and I'm from France.
I'm 30 and I'm a certified coach and facilitator. I use experiential learning and specially ropes course activities in a lot of environments: mountain, forest, sea, etc.
I propose my services to individuals as well as companies that are eager to help their people grow.
I also combine tourism visits for foreigners willing to work on their personal growth in France. I live in the south of France, so there are a lot to see there.
I like using Gestalt methods, art and horse coaching and also fairy tales in my practice.
Dylan Ardan Comment by Dylan Ardan on October 8, 2008 at 10:32pm
My name is Dylan Ardan and I am a corporate trainer/faciliator in Vietnam.. I recently created a NON-Activity with a silent objective and silent rules. Totally participant driven and the debrief is so funny. I hope to share my new activities with others, collaborate with other facilitators in South East Asia and invite facilitators to come to Vietnam. Please let me know if you are in the area.

Hi Everyone, just signed up and excited to join the group. I come from the corporate world and have been facilitating for the last year or so. I have a certification in the EQi Emotional Intelligence from MHS. It's a great compliment to the DiSC and the MBTI

I often use DiSC - although I experienced (although not certified) in MBTI.
I use the MBTI to illustrate various distinctions that enable us to act. For a leaderhship development program the MBTI is useful for leaders to know who the team members are and how to empower and engage the team for accomplishment. I have and will be happy to share initiatives that are MBTI and DiSC profile programs.
Again as I said I prefer DiSC -
http://create-learning.com/DiSC.aspx - this is a link to DiSC.

I like it better than MBTI because it applies to behavoir as opposed to set personality types. The DiSC can change with feedback and the MBTI is not able to change. I feel the MBTI is to fatalistic and is in many ways opposite of what experiential learning is. EE is very much a belief in free will - "Challenge by Choice" is a indicator of this. According to the MBTI you have no choice - you are who you are.
DiSC indicates a choice.

Is there anyone here who uses the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator assessment in their facilitation work? I'd like to hear how you use it, and in what setting.
